During the early '80s, the brothers linked a backbreaking metallic element band called Strange Agents. By the end of the 10, the group's cite had changed to Nelson, as the twins were the exclusively odd members. With Matthew on bass and Gunnar on guitar, the duo released their self-titled debut in 1990. Filled with polished, radio-friendly pop-metal, the album was a major hit in America, selling all over a zillion copies and featuring the number one single "(Can't Live Without Your) Love and Affection." Nelson was silent for the following five old age, cathartic their arcsecond record album, Because They Can, in the summer of 1995. Following their association with Geffen, the brothers founded their own independent label, Stone Canyon Records, named in tribute to their father's band, where they released their future five albums.
